Bectu’s equality and diversity networks

Bectu has a number of equality and diversity networks that members can join. They include:

  • Black Bectu network
    …for Black, Asian and minority ethnic people working in the creative industries is a way for Bectu to be able to listen to your experiences and concerns.
  • Bectu’s Womens Equality Committee
    … which comprises of elected representatives from across Bectu’s industrial divisions.
  • Bectu’s Disabled Members’ Network
    …which provides information and support to the union’s disabled members. We encourage the active participation of disabled members in the union’s affairs
  • Bectu’s LGBT+ Network
    We are committed to ensuring people from all backgrounds, including those who are LGBT+ have the same opportunities as everyone else and are able to work effectively, free of discrimination, bias, bullying and harassment.
