The Creative Workforce Pledge

The Creative Workforce Pledge was a campaign to target candidates who were standing to be Metro Mayors in May 2021, to call on them to “stand up for the creative workforce, to nurture local talent and invest in culture for all.”

It asked Metro Mayor candidates to sign a pledge, which was indeed signed by a number of candidates. The project was supported by Bectu and our sister Federation of Entertainment Industry unions. It was organised by Culture Commons who have now circulated an update on their progress with the campaign [pdf].
